This all-day training (9AM - 445PM) is intended for labor and management advocates to learn from NAA arbitrators about how to present grievance arbitration cases, and includes a brief overview of the key issues and techniques, followed by students engaging in the hands-on preparation and presentation of a labor case study, with NAA arbitrators assisting students' preparation of the case and then conducting mock arbitration hearings.

10:30 a.m. Advocates Prepare Their Cases. In concurrent Breakout Sessions and with the assistance of an NAA Arbitrator faculty member, teams prepare their cases for presentation during the afternoon.
12:30 p.m. Lunch
1:15 p.m. Advocates Present Their Cases. In concurrent Breakout Sessions, teams present their cases to a different NAA Arbitrator faculty member for decision.
3:30 p.m. Labor Arbitrator Panel: Ask Me Anything. A panel of NAA arbitrators answer your questions about what works and doesn't in labor arbitration.
4:30 p.m. Closing Remarks
4:45p.m. Adjourn
5:00 p.m. Reception Please join us for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
This all-day conference (9AM - 3PM) is intended for NAA Southeast Region members, other labor arbitrators, and labor advocates interested in learning more about, or continuing their education** in, the field of labor arbitration; it is also a chance to network or reconnect with fellow labor practitioners.
**NOTE: The Conference (Day 2) had been approved by The Florida Bar for 5.5 CLE credits (General and L&E credits).
